Wibbling, wobbling jelly,

starts shaking on my plate.

Should it keep on shivering,

The house could be a state.

It shakes and moves,

Never stopping for a break.

Please will you stop shaking.

I’m not sure how much I can take.

If only I could make,

A non-shaky kind of jelly.

This would be much better,

And perfect for my belly.

I wonder why it likes to roil,

And give a little wiggle.

Is it scared of something,

Or about to get a tickle?

I try and pick it with my spoon,

As it shimmies, sways and stumbles.

I bring it to my mouth,

But then down it just tumbles.

I actually really like this food,

This very sweet dessert.

I just wish it wouldn’t tremble,

And end up on my shirt.
